The diplomatic mission of the French Ambassador to Azerbaijan has ended

On August 27, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received the Ambassador of the French Republic to our country Anne Boillon in connection with the completion of her diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, the main topics of discussion were Azerbaijani-French relations, as well as regional and international issues. Minister J. Bayramov noted that Ambassador Anne Boillon carried out her activities as the French Ambassador to Azerbaijan during a historic and significant period for our country.
The Minister wished Anne Boillon, who is completing her diplomatic mission in the country, success in her future activities. The importance of keeping dialogue channels open was emphasized, despite the existing difficulties and challenges in Azerbaijani-French relations.
Minister J. Bayramov also informed the opposite side about the steps taken to advance the regional peace agenda, including the results and details of the historic meeting in Washington. It was noted that our country has always advocated for peace, and the meeting in Washington proved this.
The importance of initialing the text of the "Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia" during the Washington meeting was emphasized, as well as sending a joint appeal regarding the closure of the OSCE Minsk process and related structures, which are remnants of the former conflict.
Ambassador Anne Boillon expressed gratitude for the support and cooperation provided to her during her diplomatic activities in our country.
During the meeting, there was also an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
