German publication Deutsche Welle writes that the Kremlin confirmed the closure of the "Russian House" in Baku. The source notes that Russia regrets Azerbaijan's decision to close the "Russian House" and plans to resolve this situation at the level of heads of state. It is indicated that this was stated by Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov during a briefing on February 7.

It was noted that the federal agency "Rossotrudnichestvo," which promotes Russian culture abroad and manages, in particular, the "Russian House" in Baku, received official notification from Azerbaijani authorities about the termination of activities. The main reason for this decision is that the "Russian House" was not registered as a legal entity in accordance with Azerbaijani legislation.
