Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Ilham Aliyev

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Dear Ilham Heydar oglu!

Dear brother!

Your Excellency, first of all, I am very pleased to cordially congratulate you and the brotherly Azerbaijani people on the glorious 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

I would especially like to note that the chronicle of our cooperation in the past period was filled with memorable events, and ties progressively developed in all spheres. Legal framework and effective institutional mechanisms, multilateral formats aimed at comprehensive strengthening of all-encompassing and long-term relations were created.

Undoubtedly, the common brotherhood that exists between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, the close friendly ties that connect us, and the fruitful high-level dialogue, which has become regular, serve the common progress of our two brotherly peoples.

In particular, the entry of our interstate relations into a completely new historical stage in recent years and their elevation to an allied level can be regarded as a vivid practical expression of our firm political will and joint consistent efforts.

Dear Ilham Heydar oglu, I am confident that our strategic partnership, based on the principles of mutual trust and respect, will continue to rapidly develop in all priority areas, including political, economic, trade, transport, logistics, energy, industrial, agricultural, tourism, and cultural spheres.
