Seven citizens of Azerbaijan have been evacuated from Iran.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, amid the strikes by the US and Israel on Iran, the evacuation of Azerbaijani citizens from the neighboring country was carried out.

Today, from 08:00 to 20:00, seven citizens were evacuated to Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that on the morning of February 28, Israel, together with the US, struck targets in Iran. In response, Iran launched missiles at the territory of Israel. In addition, Iranian forces attacked four US military bases located in the Persian Gulf countries. Due to the situation in the Middle East, some countries in the region temporarily closed their airspace.

Earlier, it became known that Russia and China initiated an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with the US and Israeli strikes on Iran. The meeting is expected to begin on Sunday at 01:00 Baku time.
