Sahiba Gafarova: US Vice President's Visit to Azerbaijan is of Historic Significance

The visit of US Vice President JD Vance to Azerbaijan has historical significance, marking the beginning of a new stage of interaction between the two countries.

As reported by BAKU.WS citing Report, this was stated by the Chairwoman of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova at a plenary session of parliament.

According to her, visits of this level lay a solid foundation for deepening American-Azerbaijani cooperation in various spheres.

"The Charter signed between the states reflects a broad spectrum of partnership," Gafarova emphasized.

Speaking about the current changes in the region, the speaker stated that Azerbaijan is guided by the principle of partnership. She noted that Baku highly appreciates the role of US President Donald Trump in advancing peace with Armenia.

Cooperation between Azerbaijan and the USA serves the interests of the entire region, Gafarova added.

It should be noted that on February 10, US Vice President JD Vance was on a visit to Azerbaijan.
