Putin makes first statement on relations with Azerbaijan

Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the current state of relations between Moscow and Baku.
As reported by BAKU.WS, speaking at a press conference in Beijing, the Russian leader noted that issues related to the current situation inevitably arise in interstate relations.
"There are certain problems. Today, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and I exchanged greetings and shared a few words. But I am confident that the fundamental foundations of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, as well as the mutual interest in their development, will put everything in its proper place," Putin emphasized.
