Prime Minister of Azerbaijan received the Vice-Governor of the Astrakhan Oblast
On June 25, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AR) Ali Asadov received Denis Afanasyev, Vice-Governor and Chairman of the Government of the Astrakhan Oblast of the Russian Federation (RF).
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the AR, during the meeting the parties noted with satisfaction the high level of cooperation between our country and the regions of the RF, including the Astrakhan Oblast.
The positive dynamics in the development of trade, economic, and investment ties between Azerbaijan and the Astrakhan Oblast were particularly emphasized. The expansion of cooperation in the fields of transport, logistics, culture, humanitarian projects, and education was also highly appreciated.
It was separately noted that the Astrakhan Oblast is implementing a project to construct a preschool educational institution in the Gubadly district of the AR, which was liberated from occupation.
During the reception, issues of further strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Astrakhan Oblast in areas of mutual interest were also discussed.
