President: The opening of the Zangezur corridor may occur by the end of 2028
The opening of the Zangezur Corridor may occur by the end of 2028.
As reported by AZERTAG, this was stated by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in a press statement with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
"In addition to what we are currently planning and implementing, the Zangezur Corridor project also represents enormous potential. On the territory of Azerbaijan, all work on road and rail connections will be completed by the middle of next year. On the territory of other countries, we hope that everything will be implemented with the same speed, and in this case, the opening of the Zangezur Corridor may occur by the end of 2028," said the head of state.
