President of Azerbaijan: Very soon we will announce the start of gas production at a new field

Very soon, probably at the beginning of next month, we will announce the start of gas production at a new field.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in an interview with Euronews.

"Fortunately, we have properly prepared in terms of pipeline infrastructure, as well as exploration and production. Therefore, production levels are now increasing. Very soon, probably at the beginning of next month, we will announce the start of gas production at a new field. So this is a win-win situation. We need a premium market, which is Europe. And Europe needs an alternative source of supply, which is Azerbaijan. Thus, we have joined our efforts and established very fruitful cooperation with the European Commission," the head of state emphasized.
