The opening of the Zangezur corridor will benefit all countries of Central Asia.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev in an interview with the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan (UzA).

The head of state also noted that the modern transport infrastructure created in Azerbaijan, including the merchant fleet, the Alat International Trade Port, which will reach a capacity of 25 million tons in the coming years, the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, as well as nine international airports of the country - all these are factors strengthening Azerbaijan's role as a global transport and logistics hub.
