President Ilham Aliyev received the Vice President of ExxonMobil

On June 2, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Vice President of ExxonMobil John Ardill.

As reported by BAKU.WS, John Ardill conveyed greetings from ExxonMobil CEO Darren Woods to the head of state.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude for the greetings and asked to convey his greetings to the company's CEO as well.

During the meeting, ExxonMobil's long-term activities in Azerbaijan were noted, including its participation as a shareholder in the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli project. The President of Azerbaijan was provided with information about the Memorandum of Understanding planned to be signed today between SOCAR and ExxonMobil on the implementation of our country's oil and gas potential.

The guests particularly noted the favorable conditions for the development of the oil, gas, and energy sectors in Azerbaijan.
