Another episode of the program Bizdən nə danışırlar? ("What are they saying about us?") aired on Baku TV.

The program notes that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian welcomed the progress in the peace settlement process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, calling it "an important step towards strengthening security and developing regional cooperation."

As reported by the Armenian publication Alpha News, he made the corresponding statement last week during a meeting with Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan in Tehran.

During the meeting, Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran is ready to expand comprehensive cooperation with neighboring countries, including Armenia, and also announced the intention to finalize a strategic partnership document between Tehran and Yerevan.

Additionally, as reported by the publication Haberler, Fuat Oktay, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, told journalists in Baku last week that the Iranian issue directly affects Turkey and Azerbaijan.

"If chaos similar to that in Syria arises in Iran, it will affect the entire region and the world. However, in Azerbaijan and Turkey, this impact will be felt more strongly. It is for this reason that Ankara and Baku advocate for resolving the issue between Iran and the USA through negotiations," he added.
