Parliamentary delegation of Azerbaijan will not participate in the meeting in Moscow
The parliamentary delegation led by the first deputy speaker of the Milli Mejlis Ali Ahmadov will not participate in the 23rd meeting of the commission of the Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on inter-parliamentary cooperation, which was planned to be held in Moscow.
This was reported by the press and public relations department of the parliament.
"The reason for this is the demonstrative, purposeful and unlawfully arbitrary killings and acts of violence against Azerbaijanis committed by law enforcement agencies on ethnic grounds in the city of Yekaterinburg of the Russian Federation, as well as the regular nature of such cases recently.
The trip of the Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation was canceled taking into account the above," the Milli Mejlis added.
