Oath-taking ceremonies were held in the Azerbaijani army

In accordance with the 2025 training plan approved by the Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, on November 9, swearing-in ceremonies for young soldiers were held in the units of the Azerbaijani army.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to the Ministry of Defense, after the ceremonial bringing of battle flags to the parade grounds accompanied by military orchestras, the events were declared open.

First, a moment of silence was observed to honor the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as the martyrs who gave their lives for the Homeland. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.

Young soldiers who solemnly took the military oath pledged to be loyal to the Homeland.

Representatives of the Ministry of Defense and commanders of military units who spoke at the event congratulated the young soldiers on this significant day, wished them to be faithful to the Homeland, the state and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, to observe the military oath, to serve as an example, to thoroughly master the techniques of handling weapons and equipment, to constantly improve their combat training, to accurately and timely fulfill the orders of commanders and superiors, and to always be ready to protect the territorial integrity of the country. It was noted that holding the oath ceremony on State Flag Day gives this event special value and makes it a double celebration for the personnel.

The parents of young soldiers who spoke expressed pride in their sons' service for the benefit of the Homeland and thanked the head of state, as well as the leadership of the Ministry of Defense for the conditions created.

After this, concert programs dedicated to the oath-taking ceremony and State Flag Day - November 9 were organized for the personnel.
