At the invitation of Minister of Internal Affairs Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov, Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Sulkhan Tamazashvili and the delegation headed by him arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan on an official visit.

As reported to BAKU.WS by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on May 18, Tamazashvili and his accompanying persons visited the Alley of Honorable Burial and paid deep respect to the blessed memory of the national leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev. Representatives of the friendly country also visited the Alley of Martyrs and laid a wreath at the "Eternal Flame" memorial complex.

On the same day, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov held a meeting with his Georgian counterpart and the delegation headed by him. As part of the visit, the guests visited the N-designated military unit of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, located in the city of Baku, and familiarized themselves with its activities.
