MFA: We highly appreciate the US State Department's statement regarding Iranian strikes on Nakhchivan

The support provided by the United States - the most influential country in the world - holds special significance for Azerbaijan.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, this is how the ministry commented on the U.S. State Department's statement regarding Iranian attacks on Nakhchivan.

"We highly appreciate the statement of the U.S. State Department condemning Iranian drone attacks on the territory of Azerbaijan and the solidarity demonstrated by the department with our country.

Washington's position is fully consistent with the spirit and content of the Charter on Strategic Partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States, signed on February 10, 2026.

During this tense period, many countries have demonstrated their support and solidarity with Azerbaijan. We are grateful to each of them. Naturally, the support provided by the United States - the most influential country in the world - holds special significance. We express our gratitude to the United States for its principled position," the statement of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads.
