Masoud Pezeshkian thanked Ilham Aliyev for the humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan

On May 26, a telephone conversation took place between President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAJ, the heads of state congratulated each other on the sacred Eid al-Adha, wishing the peoples of Azerbaijan and Iran prosperity and abundance.

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran once again expressed gratitude for the humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan during the difficult days faced by his country.

President Ilham Aliyev, in turn, noted that Azerbaijan and Iran always stand by each other both in joyful and difficult days.

During the telephone conversation, an exchange of views took place on the development and prospects of bilateral relations.
