Macron expressed France's solidarity with Azerbaijan in connection with Iran's strike

French President Emmanuel Macron held a conversation with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the French leader wrote about this on his page on the social network X.

"As part of consultations with leaders of the countries in the region, I spoke with President Ilham Aliyev and expressed our support and solidarity following Iran's strikes on his country's territory.

I also thanked Azerbaijan for its assistance in organizing the evacuation of our citizens. I took the opportunity to once again emphasize our support for the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the desire to continue bilateral dialogue with Baku on a stronger basis," the post states.
