Kostanyan: Armenia wants to become an energy hub for supplies from Azerbaijan and Central Asia
Armenia wants to become a transit hub for supplying electricity and energy resources from Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries to Europe.
As reported by Report, Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan stated this at the panel session "South Caucasus: On the Way to Becoming a Strategic Center" within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
Kostanyan also highlighted the TRIPP project ("Trump Route"), emphasizing its multimodal nature.
"We are talking about railways and roads, as well as energy infrastructure - networks and pipelines. In this context, we have our own interest: to diversify Armenia's energy supply and at the same time become a transit hub for energy resources coming from Central Asia and Azerbaijan and destined for Europe," he said.
