Israel's Foreign Minister called Jeyhun Bayramov: attack on Nakhchivan condemned
On March 5, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar called his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.
This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
According to the information, during the phone conversation the parties exchanged views on the growing tensions in the region and security threats related to military operations.
Minister J. Bayramov informed his counterpart about today's Iranian drone strikes on the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. It was noted that this step contradicts the norms and principles of international law, posing a threat to the country's sovereignty.
The Israeli side condemned this attack, noting its unacceptability, and expressed solidarity with Azerbaijan.
