On July 3, the Baku Military Court held another hearing on criminal cases against citizens of the Republic of Armenia Araik Harutyunyan, Arkady Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, David Ishkhanyan, David Babayan, Levon Mnatsakanyan and others, accused of crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes and other crimes.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, at the court session held in the Baku Military Court presided by Judge Zeynal Agayev, with judges Jamal Ramazanov and Anar Rzayev (reserve judge - Gunel Samedova), each of the accused was provided with an interpreter in the language they speak, as well as lawyers for defense.
The court session was attended by the accused, their defenders, some of the victims, their legal successors and representatives, as well as prosecutors defending the state prosecution.
Judge Zeynal Agayev explained to the victims participating in the trial for the first time their rights and obligations provided by law, introduced them to the composition of the court, prosecutors supporting the state prosecution, interpreters, etc.
During the trial, testimony was given by persons who were taken prisoner and hostage in the territories of Azerbaijan previously occupied by the Armenian armed forces, as well as those who were wounded and suffered other injuries as a result of shelling by Armenian military personnel.
