In China, Putin greeted Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Chinese people's resistance to Japanese occupation and Victory in World War II, which took place in the Chinese capital Beijing.

As reported by BAKU.WS, before the parade began at Tiananmen Square in Beijing, there was an informal contact between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Russia.

Thus, Russian President Vladimir Putin, upon entering the premises, greeted his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva.
