Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to his Malawian counterpart

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Malawi Arthur Peter Mutharika.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and, through you, to all your people the most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday - the Independence Day of the Republic of Malawi.

I believe that Azerbaijani-Malawian relations will continue to develop and expand in the spirit of friendship in the interests of our peoples.

On this remarkable day, I extend my best wishes to you and wish your friendly people lasting peace and prosperity."
