Ilham Aliyev congratulated the president of Kenya

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Kenya William Samoei Ruto.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I convey to you and through you to all your people heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the national holiday - Independence Day of the Republic of Kenya.

The current level of development of Azerbaijani-Kenyan relations is satisfactory. We attach great importance to the development of our interstate ties, which have great potential, and to the expansion of cooperation in various fields, particularly in energy, agriculture, industry, and other areas.

I recall with the most pleasant impressions our meeting with you in September in New York, which took place in an atmosphere of sincerity and mutual trust. I believe that in the interests of our peoples, by using the available opportunities, we will jointly achieve the strengthening of friendly relations, deepening mutually beneficial cooperation both on a bilateral and multilateral basis.

On this festive day, I wish you good health, happiness, success in your endeavors, and to your friendly people - constant well-being and prosperity".
