Ilham Aliyev congratulated Bajram Begaj

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (RA) Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Albania (RA) Bajram Begaj.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you and through you all your people on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Albania.

We attach great importance to the relations between Azerbaijan and Albania. We are pleased with the upward development of bilateral interstate relations based on a solid foundation and the expansion of the scope of our cooperation.

The intensity of our meetings and visits testifies to the level of friendship between Azerbaijan and Albania and the dynamics of our interactions. With the most pleasant impressions, I recall my visit to Tirana in May of this year to participate in the 6th Summit of the European Political Community.

I am confident that in accordance with the will of our peoples, we will continue to consistently pursue joint efforts aimed at strengthening Azerbaijani-Albanian friendly relations and further deepening cooperation in a number of areas of mutual interest.

On this joyous day, I wish you good health, happiness, success in your endeavors, and to the friendly people of Albania - lasting peace and prosperity".
