Ilham Aliyev congratulated Alexander Lukashenko

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Dear Alexander Grigoryevich,

On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you and through you the entire people of friendly Belarus on the state holiday - Independence Day.

Azerbaijan and Belarus are connected by traditionally close relations of friendship and mutual support. I would like to note with satisfaction the high dynamics of cooperation between our countries, which is filled with new content every year. It is gratifying that we have been able to achieve a good level in the development of interstate dialogue, strengthening trade and economic cooperation, and intensifying cultural and humanitarian ties.

I am convinced that through joint efforts, bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus will continue to dynamically expand and deepen in all directions, in the spirit of strategic partnership in the interests of our friendly peoples and countries.
