The economy of Azerbaijan is built on a strong and fundamental base.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in the address of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum being held in Baku.

The head of state's address notes that the "Contract of the Century," signed on the initiative of national leader Heydar Aliyev, has gone down in history as an exemplary model of global cooperation, creating a solid foundation for the development of major transnational projects and logistics networks extending from Asia to Europe in subsequent years.

"After ensuring the territorial integrity of our country, Azerbaijan's efforts have laid the foundation for long-term peace, stability, and sustainable development in the region. Currently, Azerbaijan prioritizes economic diplomacy in foreign policy, focusing attention on establishing new cooperation and further strengthening non-oil sectors, particularly the country's tourism potential," - emphasized in President Ilham Aliyev's address.
