Azerbaijan is a reliable partner of China in the region.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev during his speech at the "SCO plus" format meeting in the Chinese city of Tianjin.

"We contribute to maintaining international and regional peace and security, and implement large-scale economic, transport and energy projects," said the head of state.

President Ilham Aliyev also added that Azerbaijan was one of the first to support the "One Belt, One Road" initiative put forward by the Chairman of the People's Republic of China and is implementing serious practical projects in this direction.
