Haber Global prepared a report about an event in Baku dedicated to the SGC

Especially during the period when energy security is being discussed, the importance of the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) has increased even more.

This is stated in a report by Haber Global TV channel, dedicated to the 11th ministerial meeting within the framework of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the 3rd ministerial meeting within the framework of the Green Energy Advisory Council.

The report emphasizes that representatives from 24 countries, seven international financial institutions, and 42 energy companies participated in the event. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev delivered the opening speech. The main part of his speech was devoted to energy security issues.

According to the head of state, the geography of Azerbaijani gas supplies to Europe will definitely expand, because Azerbaijan is already working on creating a gas distribution network in some European countries.

"In some of them it exists, in others it needs to be expanded. Azerbaijan plans to do this," the Azerbaijani leader emphasized.
