Haber Global: Ilham Aliyev made a symbolic visit to Shusha on Independence Day

President Ilham Aliyev made important statements on the occasion of the national holiday - Independence Day during a meeting with residents of the village of Boyuk Galadarasi in the Shusha district.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a report by the Haber Global TV channel dedicated to the visit of the head of the Azerbaijani state to Shusha.

It is noted that on May 28, Azerbaijan celebrates the 108th anniversary of Independence Day. It is emphasized that President Ilham Aliyev made a symbolic visit to Shusha precisely on the day of the proclamation of independence.

"Today we live peacefully, as a victorious nation and as a victorious state. This is a source of immense pride," the TV channel quoted the head of state.

"After our glorious Victory, I celebrate this wonderful holiday - May 28 - Independence Day on the liberated lands, and this has already become a tradition. I believe this is the most correct choice. This Independence Day is very dear to each of us," President Ilham Aliyev emphasized.
