Haber Global: Construction projects in Karabakh are cited as an example on a global scale
The 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) continues its work.
As reported by BAKU.WS, Haber Global has released another video report in this regard.
The report highlights important aspects related to the construction work carried out by Azerbaijan in Karabakh. When asked "What is the reason these efforts are being taken as an example?", Chairman of the Center for Analysis of International Relations Farid Shafiyev responded as follows:
"Azerbaijan is not simply building houses in Karabakh. It is implementing a comprehensive development model. Azerbaijan has a unique model. It means that we are not just building houses, we are creating a holistic development model."
According to F. Shafiyev, this model can serve as an example for all conflict-affected regions — from Ukraine to the Middle East. The report notes that large-scale restoration work has been carried out in Karabakh and East Zangezur as part of the Great Return program. Over the past 5 years, tunnels with a total length of 70 km have been built in the region. Construction of 5 tunnels is still ongoing. Out of the planned 500 bridges, 435 have been built.
