Emin Huseynov: One of the main principles of urban planning policy is the creation of modern workplaces for people

"One of the key goals of the modern urban development concept is to minimize the use of automobile transport. Along with this, the preservation of national, cultural, and historical heritage is of particular importance."

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan for the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, Emin Huseynov, speaking at the session titled "Housing at the Centre of Crisis Recovery and Reconstruction," held as part of WUF13.

Emin Huseynov emphasized that one of the fundamental principles of urban development policy is the creation of modern workplaces and decent living conditions for people:

"The projects being implemented involve more than just the construction of residential buildings. The main goal is to create all the necessary conditions for people to work, live, and function in a comfortable social environment. When all these principles are fully embodied in a single project, it indicates that the given settlement has been built in accordance with the 'smart city' concept."
