Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Body of ship captain killed in drone attack off the coast of Odessa has been found

The body of Samed Nasrullayev, the captain of the civilian merchant vessel Atlas Bey, who was killed in a drone attack near the shores of Ukraine's Odessa, has been found.

This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

The ministry noted that after the completion of the relevant procedures, the body of S. Nasrullayev will be sent to his homeland.

"We express our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased ship captain," the MFA of the Republic of Azerbaijan added.
