Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry calls on Israel and Iran for dialogue

Seriously concerned about military operations carried out by the State of Israel on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan.
"We call on the parties to resolve existing disagreements exclusively in accordance with the norms and principles of international law, through dialogue and diplomatic methods.
We especially emphasize the importance of ensuring the safety of civilians and facilities.
It is important to continue diplomatic contacts and efforts within the framework of relevant international mechanisms in order to prevent further escalation of the situation in the Middle East," the message says.
On the night of June 13, Israel announced the start of operation "Am KeLavi" ("Nation, like a lion"), the purpose of which is to damage Iran's nuclear and missile programs. After that, the army of the Jewish state struck targets in several settlements, including Tehran and Natanz. The targets were military bases, air defense systems, and residential complexes where representatives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were located.
