Citizens of Azerbaijan have sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the form of energy equipment.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was written by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Baku, Yuriy Husiev, on social media.

According to him, the humanitarian aid was sent from Baku as part of the initiative of Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha "Warmth for Ukraine". The cargo will be handed over to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and a number of territorial communities.

"This aid is yet another vivid example of true solidarity and fraternal assistance during difficult times for Ukraine," the diplomat wrote.

The aid includes 17 generators of various capacities, four portable power systems, and three heat guns. The equipment will be used for rapid restoration of electricity and heat supply in regions affected by Russian strikes.

"Sincere gratitude to Azerbaijan, its top leadership, enterprises, organizations and the entire Azerbaijani people for their unwavering consistent support of Ukraine, for their humanity and constant readiness to help with specific issues," he emphasized.
