Azerbaijan is in contact with Russia regarding the AZAL plane crash

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan continues active interaction with the Russian side as part of the investigation into the circumstances of the crash of the aircraft belonging to Azerbaijani airline AZAL.

As Report informs, the head of the foreign policy department of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, confirmed this information in his comment to press representatives.

According to the minister, Russian colleagues informed the Azerbaijani side that the investigation of this aviation incident is currently in an active phase and is still ongoing.
