Armenia Between Peace and Yerablur: A Response to Kocharyan

In Armenia, on the eve of parliamentary elections, the struggle is intensifying between supporters of the peace course led by Pashinyan and revanchist forces led by Kocharyan, who is trying to idealize the past and shift responsibility for the war onto the current government.

This is stated in the latest episode of the Caliber YouTube channel.

"At the same time, the revanchists forget that the defeat in the 44-day war was a consequence of previous policies, not of individuals, and was essentially inevitable without abandoning the occupation of Azerbaijan's territories.

Today's choice for Armenia is not simply a change of leaders, but a strategic decision: either continued movement toward peace and normalization, or a return to the confrontational model that has already led the country to severe consequences," the report notes.
