Ararat Mirzoyan: Yerevan is ready to sign an agreement with Baku both at the border and in a third country

Armenia admits the possibility of signing a peace agreement with Azerbaijan both at the border and in one of the third countries.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan in an interview with the Turkish TV channel NTV.
"We believe that now we can immediately begin consultations to determine the place, time and exact date of signing the agreement. It could be the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan, it could be any third country that would be acceptable to both Yerevan and Baku. All this can be subject to discussion," he noted.
In addition, according to Mirzoyan, Armenia is ready to simplify control procedures for connecting the main part of Azerbaijan with Nakhchivan through its territory.
"On the section connecting the main territory of Azerbaijan with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic along the shortest route, we have proposed to use modern mechanisms. For example, we have proposed using electronic scanning systems to minimize physical inspections. We have proposed introducing electronic declaration, which will speed up the flow of goods. In addition, we have proposed using insurance and reinsurance mechanisms to ensure the security of the crossing," emphasized the Armenian Foreign Minister.
