Ambassador of Israel: Serious changes have occurred in Azerbaijan over the past six years

Azerbaijan has undergone great transformations over the past six years.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, this was stated by Israeli Ambassador George Deek.

"These were years of historic transformations for Azerbaijan, for Israel, and for the partnership between our countries. We call our relationship a strategic partnership, but over the past six years we have raised it to a new height," he said.

The ambassador emphasized that it was an honor for him to be the first Israeli ambassador to visit the liberated territories.

"It was an honor for me to be the first Israeli ambassador to visit Shusha and witness its magnificence, to see the ruins of Fuzuli, the healing waters of Istisu in Kalbajar, the restoration of Aghdam, the wonderful picturesque village of Aghali in Zangilan, and the breathtaking hills of Lachin," he said.

"I congratulate Azerbaijan on this historic achievement. Israel was one of the few countries that expressed full and unwavering support for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity - not only in words but also in deeds. Because true friendship is tested not in easy times, but in difficult ones," he emphasized.
