Ali Asadov visited the Embassy of Georgia in Azerbaijan
On March 19, Prime Minister Ali Asadov visited the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Azerbaijan (RA).
As reported by Oxu.Az with reference to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the RA, the head of government left heartfelt words in the book of condolences in connection with the passing of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, the outstanding religious figure Ilia II.
As a reminder, on March 17, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II passed away at the age of 93 in Tbilisi. He had previously been hospitalized with gastric bleeding at the Caucasus Medical Center and placed on a ventilator.
It should be noted that Ilia II (born Irakli Georgievich Gudushauri-Shiolashvili) was elected Catholicos-Patriarch on December 23, 1977.
