Abbas Araghchi: We are looking forward to Ilham Aliyev's visit to Iran
There are common interests between Azerbaijan and Iran.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku.
According to the head of the Iranian foreign ministry, his visit to Baku has strategic importance for discussing the further development of bilateral relations.
"Today's negotiations covered political, economic, cultural, and other spheres of cooperation. I also had a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev, during which all key issues were addressed. There are many common interests between our countries. There are also certain disagreements, but we have chosen dialogue as a priority direction in all our relations," said Araghchi.
The minister recalled the visits of the Iranian President to Azerbaijan this year: "We are also looking forward to Ilham Aliyev's visit to Iran."
