A representative office of the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau has opened in Beijing

The representative office of the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau was opened in Beijing.

This was reported by the State Tourism Agency.

It was noted that the office is designed to deepen cooperation with China's tourism sector, raise awareness of Azerbaijan's tourism potential, and expand promotional efforts in the Chinese market.

The opening was attended by Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Nagiyev, Trade Representative of Azerbaijan in the PRC Teymur Nadiroglu, Chairman of the Board of the Tourism Bureau Florian Sengstschmid, as well as representatives of the tourism sector and media from both countries.

Nagiyev emphasized that the opening of the representative office in Beijing reflects the strategic importance of the Chinese market for Azerbaijan. He noted that in recent years, cooperation in the field of tourism has been developing dynamically, and the visa-free regime and direct flights are accelerating this process.

As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation participated in the Envision 2026 Global Conference organized by Trip.com Group and was awarded the "Strategic Partner of the Year" prize.
