On July 25, an operational meeting was held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Azerbaijan, dedicated to organizing service and ensuring public safety in the liberated territories.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the meeting was held online under the leadership of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov.

The operational situation in the region, service activities of personnel, and interaction with the local population were discussed.

It was also noted that maintaining public order, ensuring the safety of local residents and tourists, protecting property, and continuing educational and preventive measures should remain among the priority areas in these territories.

Special attention at the meeting was paid to fire safety issues.

It was emphasized that against the background of hot and dry summer weather, the danger of fires in forests and open territories increases, in connection with which preventive measures are being intensified.

The meeting also discussed in detail measures to ensure fire safety due to the increased risk of fires during the summer season. Heads of relevant services were instructed to strengthen control, conduct monitoring in vulnerable areas, and continue educational work among the population about the dangers that careless handling of fire can cause.
