A meeting between Ali Asadov and the UN Secretary-General's special envoy took place in Baku
Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) for Road Safety Jean Todt.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, during the meeting the parties expressed satisfaction with the successful development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UN in various areas.
The activities of the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy in promoting global road safety were highly appreciated.
The reforms being carried out in Azerbaijan to ensure road safety, develop road transport infrastructure in accordance with modern requirements, and improve the transport system through the implementation of digital solutions were also discussed.
In addition, the parties considered issues related to studying international experience in the field of road safety, expanding cooperation in this area, and other topics of mutual interest.
