A new function has appeared in Telegram

In the latest Telegram 11.13 beta for iOS (build 30945), a long-awaited task list creation feature has appeared. This was reported by the Telegram channel Beta Info.

The new feature allows users to create task lists in both private chats and group conversations. Each list can contain up to 30 items, making it a convenient planning tool.

When used in groups, the list creator gets additional management capabilities: they can allow other participants not only to add new tasks but also to mark existing items as completed. It's particularly convenient that the avatar of the user who completed a task automatically appears next to the completed item.

It's worth noting that the feature is still in the testing phase and may undergo changes before the final version is released.

When a similar update will appear in the Telegram beta for Android is still unknown. There is also no information about the timeline for implementing this feature in the stable version of the messenger on all supported platforms.

Many Telegram users have long been using the "Saved Messages" chat as personal notes and to-do lists. Until now, to mark a completed task, users had to edit the message and apply special text formatting. With the new update, the process will be significantly simplified - it will be enough to check the box next to the completed item.
