How many citizens are entitled to pensions and benefits due to the loss of a breadwinner?

In May 2025, more than 194 thousand people became recipients of pensions and benefits for the loss of a breadwinner. This information was provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan.

According to official data, out of the total number of recipients, more than 137 thousand citizens receive pension payments, and over 57 thousand people receive benefits.

Notably, compared to the same period last year, there is an increase in the number of recipients of this type of social support. In May 2024, pensions and benefits for the loss of a breadwinner were paid to more than 193 thousand people.
