Whitkoff revealed the decisive factor for achieving peace in Ukraine
The key point in achieving a peace agreement on Ukraine is the question of ownership of five territories, however, as noted by former US President Donald Trump's special representative Steven Witkoff on Fox News, this is far from the only aspect.
According to Witkoff, the agreement is not limited to just discussing the territorial issue: "It's about the so-called five territories, but it's not that simple. The agreement addresses security issues, there's no NATO membership and Article 5 of the NATO Charter. There are many nuances here."
He characterized the current situation as complex and emphasized the deep contradictions between Russia and Ukraine.
Although Witkoff did not specify which territories he was referring to, experts believe he meant Crimea, as well as the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions - areas of Ukraine partially under Russian control.
