White House: US achieved military objectives in Iran ahead of schedule
The United States achieved its primary military objectives in Iran in 38 days, with the initially planned duration of the operation being 4-6 weeks.
This was stated by White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt on the social network X.
"From the very beginning of Operation 'Epic Fury,' President [US President Donald] Trump anticipated it would last four to six weeks. Thanks to the incredible successes of our military, we achieved and exceeded our primary military objectives in 38 days," she wrote.
Leavitt claimed that the US military successes provided Washington (the US capital) with leverage and allowed the start of negotiations that would open the path to a diplomatic solution and the establishment of long-term peace.
