Vance: Europe risks "committing civilizational suicide"

US Vice President JD Vance stated that European countries risk "committing civilizational suicide" by failing to control their borders and restricting citizens' freedom of speech.
He said this in an interview with Fox News.
"Europe is threatened by civilizational suicide. They are either unable or unwilling to control their borders. What we're seeing now, their attempts to counter this, is good, it's the right step. But you also see how they are beginning to restrict the freedom of speech of their own citizens, even when these citizens are protesting against things like border invasion. [It is precisely such protest sentiments] that led to the election of Donald Trump and a number of European leaders," Vance noted.
According to him, the policy of open borders and restrictions on citizens' rights are becoming a serious problem for European countries.
