US President Donald Trump stated that he could have skipped the NATO summit if it had not been held in Turkey.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, Trump made this statement during a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the NATO summit in Ankara.
"I was very disappointed in NATO, and frankly, if the summit had not been in Turkey, where my friend (Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan - ed.) is a very strong leader, a very strong person, it's very possible that I would not have attended it," Trump noted.
